Schorf is a collective loosely knotted around the masterminds Tom and Niels (drummer of Speck) building the fundaments of this beast of grind around improvisation. Schorf performe live as a duo or as a whole bunch of maniacs molesting their vocal chords, saxophones, duck-imitation-whistles, samplers, synths and theremins. This 14 min. sculpture of listening pleasure is hosted by Tom – guitar/voc, Niels – drums/voc/keys, Marlon – sampler/keys/voc and original Speck co-founder Fipe on voc/woodflute. All instruments were recorded on 4-track in one go. Overdubs only for vocals and some piano/key chords.
