These are the first recordings of three-piece combo MIR, recorded live in a basement in early 2005. Connaisseurs of honest music will enjoy the lack of production and the intensity of the four instrumental pieces. Drummer Daniel Buess (Ensemble Phoenix, Cortex) enriches his drumming with the sounds of his selfmade percussion devices. His hypnotic mantra-like rhythms are accompanied by heavy bass, screaming guitars and percussive cluster organs, courtesy of drone specialists Papiro and Michael Zaugg.
